When I discovered that glow-in-the-dark yarn existed, I knew I had to get some, and immediately started making some projects that glow. One of my favorites has been this tiny little star, that I can use in decorations, as accessories to other projects, or even as Christmas ornaments.

How they look on a Christmas tree:

To start, I made a quick little pattern for a star that I can easily duplicate and make fun scenes like this hanging from my ceiling:

Here's a list of all the materials I used to make the star:

  1. Polyfill Stuffing

  2. Size 4 "Glow in the dark" Worsted yarn

  3. Scissors

  4. Tapestry Needle

  5. Size F (4mm) crichet hook

  6. (Optional) Ornament Hook

The steps to create one of your own can be found as a pattern that is available at my Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/s/2bdf319b27

I also have a free video tutorial available, which you can follow along to (don't forget to subscribe!):

Thanks for reading! Did you make one? I'd love to see how it turned out! Tag me on Instagram (📸 Instagram ) or on Bluesky (🦋 Bluesky ) and I'll repost your creations!
