DIY Crochet Ohmu Pill Bug Tutorial

Hello and welcome to HM Craft! Today I'm going to show you a tutorial on how to make this Ohmu (the bug-like creature from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind). You can choose if you want it to have calm blue eyes, or angry red eyes. They're perfect for any Studio Ghibli fan, or for folks who want their own roly-poly pill bug.

Follow along with the the video above to create your own! Here are the materials you'll need:

• Size 4 acrylic worsted yarn

• "F" 4mm crochet hook

• Tapestry needle

• Polyfill stuffing

• Scissors

• 14 12mm safety eyes

• NOTE: To get red or blue eyes, I took regular black doll eyelets and spray painted a white primer, then spray painted whichever color I wanted. I then added a gloss sealer to make them extra shiny.
