IMPACT TIN
Every January our university president gives a speech on the State of the University, which provides donors and alumni at the event with valuable information on what the university has accomplished in the past year. Often the event focuses on data and research findings, which provide insight into the overall impact of Oregon State University on the state, nation and the world. To provide the donors and alumni with information at their fingertips, we create an Impact report that details many of the points the president touches on. This year, we created a series of double-sided cards that were held inside a metal tin. Also included was an orange piece of seed paper in the shape of Oregon, which could grow wildflowers if planted. The inclusion of this paper tied in with the overall theme of this year’s impact, which was ‘growth’.
